Volunteering: Make a Difference
Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer at Mercy Health Saint Mary's. We consider our volunteers to be an invaluable part of our organization. Our volunteers support the care delivery team to create an excellent care experience for each patient. Our hope is that you will become a life-long partner with Mercy Health.

Who can volunteer?
A diverse group of people of all ages volunteer at Mercy Health Saint Mary's. We have volunteers from ages 16 to 90 years old. They are students, homemakers, retirees, and workers with full- and part-time jobs. Our volunteer program runs seven days a week, days and evenings.

There are many ways to volunteer at Mercy Health Saint Mary's. To learn more about our wide range of volunteer opportunities click here. We do our best to match your unique interests, skills, and talents so that you will have a fun, rewarding volunteer experience.
The application process will include:
- Completed Application
- Two reference forms
*The completed application forms and two references need to be turned into Volunteer Services. Once these are received, we will contact you about an interview and coordinate the following items:
- Attend Volunteer Orientation
- Workplace Health Appointment
- Vaccination history record
- TB Test
- Flu shot
