Staffing Component

The service training, or staffing component, of the residency program is an important part of the professional practice development of our program. Residents will participate in learning activities during the service rotation in order to achieve several required goals. The service training rotation has both longitudinal and block components. Residents are required to work in this service/ staffing role every third weekend (a mix of dosing service, TPN service, and staffing), a four hour mid-week staffing shift every week, and two holidays during the year.
