The Saint Mary's Health Care residency program is designed to help pharmacists transition from the role of student to the role of practitioner.

Pharmacists choosing to pursue residency training set themselves down a career path that has potential for greatly increased job satisfaction and, more importantly, better patient care.

The PGY-1 residency at Saint Mary's is a rigorous and intentional advanced-training program. The program is customized for each individual resident, with rotations selected and learning activities oriented toward the individual resident's learning needs.

Saint Mary's Health Care also routinely participates in the education and clinical training of Doctor of Pharmacy students from the College of Pharmacy at Ferris State University. The Pharmacy Practice Residency program is one element of this mission.
