Ways To Give

Become a Grand Girlfriend

A famed study from the Harvard Medical School found that the more friends women have, the less likely they would develop health problems as they aged. And that's not all. The study showed that women with more friends led more joyful lives.

Simply put: girlfriends are good for your health!

And now, girlfriends can help improve the health of other women by joining a group that's created quite a buzz — Grand GirlfriendsTM.

Grand GirlfriendsTM was created to bring women together to support programs and services that improve the health and enhance the lives of women served by Mercy Health Saint Mary's.

With a one time $1,000 commitment, members of Grand GirlfriendsTM create an endowment and choose how to direct the interest earned on the group's pooled resources through an annual grants award process.

In addition, Grand GirlfriendsTM are invited to events featuring timely topics for women such as "Is Chocolate Really Good for You?" and "Mind, Body and Spirit: Juggling It All." Grand GirlfriendsTM events are completely optional.

As a Grand Girlfriend, you get to be a part of a collaborative, informed and empowered force choosing to improve and enhance the lives of women. Doesn't that sound grand?
