Two state-of-the-art special procedures suite offers a wide
variety of diagnostic and therapeutic services. These include
digital subtraction angiography, balloon angioplasty, thrombolysis
of clots in the arterial and venous system, hemodialysis graft
and fitsula declottings and angioplasty, TIPSS, embolization,
as well as biliary and vascular stent placement. Central venous
access using PICC lines, tunneled catheters and subcutaneous
ports are also offered. Needle biopsies, tube placement and
abscess drainages are also performed. All patients are monitored
by specially trained Registered Nurses utilizing continuous
EKG, pulse oximetry and non-invasive blood pressure. Sedation
is routinely administered or most procedures.
